The Colt off-road/overland tent trailer is Warhorse's most popular model. The Colt format is the perfect balance of storage space and a smaller format behind your vehicle. The two 24'' wide side doors accommodate any aftermarket cooler or slide. The rear compartment can also house a ton of gear including a 13-gallon water tank. The tongue-length/platform can also be lengthened to accommodate bikes, fuel/propane large tongue boxes and other items. The adjustable roof-rack is great for housing kayaks and other items and can be enclosed with access to a door (great for chairs and tables).
Each trailer is equipped with a Roof-Rack, Roof-Rack panels, rear ARK Fold-Down Jacks, keyed alike doors, custom colors and an extended tongue if desired and a removable 2'' front coupler. All trailers come with electrical. Brakes are available if desired.
With at 65''L x 48''W x 30'' T box, the Colt is truly a do-all trailer.
There are two suspension options available for the Colt.
Standard is a 3500lb Straight axle, but the 3500HD Timbren axles are an option.
Things to consider: the straight axle is most serviceable and reliable and can use 5-lug, 6-lug and 8-lug bolt patterns. The Timbren 3500HD can only accommodate 6-lug and 8-lug wheels (no 5-lugs, sorry Jeep folks). The Timbren 3500HD rides very smooth, but you are limited to 3500lbs whereas upgrading a straight axle from 3500lbs is an easy task (you can't change the Timbren once it's on there). Long-term, straight axles are more serviceable and reliable but they do ride rougher.
